2025 TVS Sport Introduces New ES+ Variant – Launched at ₹61,000

2025 TVS Sport Launches New ES+ Variant at ₹60,881 – Adds Fresh Styling and Mid-Tier Value

TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers, has expanded its budget-friendly motorcycle lineup with the launch of a new variant in the Sport series. Positioned below the Star City+ and Raider 125, the TVS Sport remains the brand’s most affordable motorcycle offering. Now, with the introduction of the ES+ (Electric Start Plus) variant, it aims to offer better value and sporty styling in the commuter segment.

Aimed at Splendor Buyers with Added Flair

The commuter motorcycle segment in India is dominated by Hero MotoCorp’s iconic Splendor series. With the Sport, TVS competes by offering a slightly larger engine and competitive pricing. The 2025 TVS Sport ES+ variant adds to the appeal by bridging the gap between the entry-level and top-end trims.

Pricing and Positioning

  • Self Start ES+ is priced at ₹60,881 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  • It sits between the Self Start (ES) variant at ₹59,881 and the Self Start ELS variant at ₹71,785.
  • This makes the ES+ a well-balanced mid-range option for budget-conscious buyers who still want a touch of style.

Visual Enhancements and Colors

The ES+ variant gets unique color options not offered in the other trims:

  • Grey Red
  • Black Neon

These schemes come with minimalist graphics on the fuel tank, and matching accents on the headlight cowl and front mudguard. It’s also the only variant to feature:

  • A black pillion grab rail (others have a silver one)
  • Color-coded pinstripes on the alloy wheels, enhancing its sporty appeal

Hardware and Performance

Mechanically, the 2025 TVS Sport remains unchanged. It comes equipped with:

  • Telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers
  • Drum brakes at both ends
  • 10-litre fuel tank
  • Kerb weight: 112 kg
  • Ground clearance: 175 mm

Engine and Specs

Powering the bike is a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine delivering:

  • 8.08 bhp at 7,350 RPM
  • 8.7 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM
  • Paired with a 4-speed gearbox
  • Top speed: 90 km/h

Final Thoughts

With the launch of the new ES+ variant, TVS Sport now offers a sportier design and improved mid-tier value to further strengthen its position in the budget commuter segment. The stylish touches and reliable performance make it a compelling option for daily riders looking for something beyond the basic.
