Upcoming MG Majestor Launching in May: Expected Price & Feature Highlights

MG Majestor SUV Launching in May 2025: Expected Price, Features, and More

MG Motor is gearing up to launch the Majestor, a sportier and more premium version of its Gloster SUV, in May 2025. Positioned in the full-sized SUV segment, the Majestor will go head-to-head with established rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Nissan X-Trail, and Jeep Meridian.

Initially revealed at the Bharat Mobility Show, the Majestor has been spotted testing on Indian roads multiple times, fueling anticipation ahead of its official debut. Here’s what we know so far about this upcoming 7-seater SUV.

Expected Pricing

Currently, the MG Gloster is priced between ₹39.57 lakh and ₹44.03 lakh (ex-showroom). The MG Majestor is expected to be priced slightly higher, with estimates ranging from ₹40 lakh to ₹45 lakh, depending on the variant.

Sportier Exterior Design

The Majestor stands apart from the Gloster with several distinct styling updates:

  • Redesigned front grille and bumper
  • New headlamps with LED DRLs
  • Connected LED taillamps and reworked rear bumper
  • Large ‘Majestor’ badging and dual exhaust tips
  • 19-inch 5-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels
  • Blacked-out roof, door handles, and wing mirrors
  • Chrome-finished running board

While the overall body structure remains similar—sharing sheet metal elements like the bonnet, fenders, and doors—the aesthetic changes give the Majestor a more aggressive and sportier presence on the road.

Though MG has yet to officially reveal the cabin of the Majestor (the show model featured heavily tinted windows), it’s expected to mirror the Gloster’s interior with a few premium upgrades. Likely features include:

  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Fully digital and customizable instrument cluster
  • All-black interior theme
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Powered driver’s seat with heating, cooling, and massage functions
  • Heated front passenger seat
  • Three-zone automatic climate control
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • 12-speaker premium audio system
  • Electric tailgate
  • Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • 360-degree camera system
  • Auto headlights and wipers
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
  • Electronic parking brake with auto hold

Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the MG Majestor is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine, the same unit that drives the top-spec Gloster. This engine delivers 216 bhp and 479 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A 4×4 drivetrain option is also likely to be available.

The MG Majestor aims to offer a compelling mix of power, technology, and aggressive styling, targeting buyers looking for a premium full-size SUV experience with added sportiness.
