TVS Jupiter 125 Teased Ahead of Launch – What to Expect
TVS Motor is continuing to strengthen its presence in the scooter market. Following the launch of the updated Jupiter 110 last year, which featured a bold new design, the company is now gearing up to introduce a refreshed version of the Jupiter 125. The first teaser has just been released, offering a glimpse into what’s coming.
TVS Jupiter 125 – First Look Teased
TVS has officially teased the new Jupiter 125 for the first time on its social media platforms. The teaser features a sleek design, showcasing a single-piece seat and a matching rear pillion grab rail. The caption accompanying the post reads: “Style. Power. Performance. Coming soon!”
From the teaser, the launch colour appears to be a new Copper shade, adding a premium touch to the scooter’s aesthetic.

Design and Features
While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it hints that the upcoming Jupiter 125 could take styling cues from its smaller sibling, the Jupiter 110. Expect features like:
- Sleek horizontal LED DRLs
- LED turn indicators and tail lights
- 12-inch alloy wheels
- 220mm front petal disc brake
- Front fuel filler cap
- Spacious underseat storage
These elements are either carried over or expected to be upgraded from the current Jupiter 125 model.
Engine and Performance
The new Jupiter 125 is likely to be powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine as the current version. The power output may vary depending on whether the iGO Assist technology is included:
- Without iGO Assist: 8 bhp and 10.5 Nm
- With iGO Assist: 8.44 bhp and 11.1 Nm
This engine will be mated to a CVT gearbox, providing smooth city commutes.
Feature Upgrades
Following TVS’ “Zyada Ka Fayda” philosophy, the new Jupiter 125 is expected to offer enhanced features, including:
- A TFT instrument cluster
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Improved ride comfort and practicality
These updates are in line with what was offered in the Jupiter 110 launched last year.

Launch Timeline and Rivals
The new Jupiter 125 is expected to launch around the festive season later this year. It will compete in the hotly contested 125cc family scooter segment, going head-to-head with:
- Honda Activa 125
- 2025 Suzuki Access
- Hero Destini 125
- Yamaha Fascino
Given the added features and design upgrades, the new Jupiter 125 is likely to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which ranges from ₹80,640 to ₹91,821 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
