Bajaj Plans To Launch 8 New Bikes Soon, Pulsar Lineup In Sharp Focus

Bajaj Auto is gearing up for a busy phase, with plans to launch eight new motorcycles over the next few months. The announcement was made during the company’s recent earnings call, where the brand outlined its strategy amid rising costs and upcoming regulatory changes.

According to Bajaj Auto’s Executive Director, Rakesh Sharma, the focus will be on refreshing and strengthening the Pulsar brand, especially in the 150cc and above segments. Pulsar continues to be Bajaj’s most important nameplate in terms of volumes and profitability. The company has already rolled out updated versions of the Pulsar 220F, Pulsar 150, and Pulsar 125, and plans to maintain this momentum with two new or updated launches every month.

By mid-2026, Bajaj expects its portfolio to look far more modern and competitive. However, new GST regulations affecting bikes above 350cc could force changes. While Bajaj has kept the Pulsar NS400Z pricing unchanged for now, this may not be sustainable in the long run. A possible engine downsizing to 350cc is being considered to manage higher taxation.

Beyond Pulsar, Bajaj is exploring the idea of a separate 125cc-focused brand, possibly reviving the Platina with more features to compete in the commuter segment. At the premium end, the Dominar lineup is also expected to evolve, with exports playing a key role. Bajaj may introduce newer engines for global markets while adjusting displacement for India.

The company is also studying dual-sport and off-road motorcycles, which could arrive under new or revived nameplates like Trekker or Marathon.
