Bajaj Pulsar N160 New Variant Launched at Rs 1.24 Lakh: Gets USD Forks and Single-Piece Seat

​Bajaj Auto has launched a new variant of the Pulsar N160 in India, priced at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This version sits between the existing trims and brings a few rider-friendly updates that make the motorcycle more practical for daily use. The key additions are the upside-down (USD) front forks and a single-piece seat, replacing the telescopic setup and split seat found on other variants.

The new USD forks are expected to enhance overall ride quality and stability, especially on broken roads and during sudden braking. They should also help the bike feel more controlled while cornering. The single-piece seat brings better comfort and gives more room for both the rider and pillion, making it more commuter-focused.

Bajaj is offering this variant in four shades — Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Polar Sky Blue, and Black. The graphics have also been tweaked slightly to differentiate it from the other versions of the Pulsar N160.

There are no changes to the engine or core hardware. The bike continues with its 164.82cc, oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces 15.7 bhp and 14.65 Nm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch alloys and gets disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. Features include a negative LCD display, while the top-spec trim continues to offer Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, and a USB charger.

With this update, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 stays competitive against rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ, and Hero Xtreme 160 4V.
