Citroen has announced a price hike for its India portfolio, affecting the Basalt, Aircross and C3. The revision ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 45,000, depending on the model and variant. There are no mechanical or feature updates alongside this increase, and all three models continue to be offered with the same engine and transmission options as before.
Citroen Basalt: Updated Prices
The Citroen Basalt has received a uniform price hike of Rs 20,000 across all variants. It is available in You, Plus and Max trims, with prices now ranging between Rs 8.15 lakh and Rs 13.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Basalt is powered by either an 82hp 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 110hp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit. Manual transmission is standard, while the turbo engine also gets a 6-speed automatic option. It rivals the Tata Curvv and competes with popular midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Citroen Aircross: Updated Prices
The Aircross has seen the highest price hike among the three models, with increases of up to Rs 45,000. Prices now start at Rs 8.49 lakh and go up to Rs 13.94 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Citroen C3 hatchback now costs between Rs 4.95 lakh and Rs 9.45 lakh, ex-showroom. Lower trims have received a smaller hike, while higher variants are noticeably more expensive.
