Ducati Monster Gets New Sport Livery for European Market

Ducati has introduced a new Sport Livery for the Ducati Monster and Ducati Monster Plus in the European market. This new colour scheme will be available at Ducati dealerships across Europe starting April 2026. The design is inspired by the classic Ducati Monster V4.

The new Sport Livery uses a grey base colour combined with Racing Red highlights. The red accents can be seen on the wheels, seat, flyscreen, tail section, and fuel tank. On the Monster Plus version, the livery also includes a front fairing and passenger seat cover, giving the bike a slightly sportier appearance.

As of now, Ducati has not confirmed whether this new Monster colour scheme will be introduced in India. However, expanding the colour options in the Indian market later could be a possibility, even though there is no official timeline yet.

The latest generation Monster continues to use Ducati’s Euro 5+ compliant V2 engine. This engine produces 110 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. According to Ducati, more than 80 percent of the peak torque is available between 4,000 rpm and 10,000 rpm, which improves the bike’s rideability and performance across different speeds.

Another important highlight is the extended valve clearance service interval, which now stands at 45,000 km, reducing long-term maintenance concerns for owners.

The new Monster is built around a lightweight aluminium monocoque frame along with a rear subframe that combines techno-polymer and trellis construction. This setup helps reduce the motorcycle’s weight by around 4 kg compared to the previous generation.

With a seat height of 815 mm, the bike is designed to be accessible and easier to handle for a wider range of riders while maintaining the sporty character that the Monster series is known for.
