Yamaha Motor India has revised the prices of the Yamaha R15 V4 lineup. All variants are now costlier by ₹4,900, with the updated prices effective from May 2026.
The price hike is mainly due to increased input and logistics costs. Despite the revision, the R15 continues to be a popular choice in the entry-level sportbike segment, thanks to its strong performance and track-focused design.
The top-spec R15M Carbon Fibre variant is now priced at ₹1,96,100 (ex-showroom), while the base variant starts at ₹1,71,100. Other versions, including the MotoGP Edition and Dual Tone variants, are positioned in between.
There are no mechanical or feature updates with this price revision. The motorcycle continues with the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine featuring Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The Yamaha R15 V4 stands out for its sporty riding posture, lightweight construction, and sharp handling. Built on a Deltabox frame, it gets premium hardware such as USD front forks, a rear monoshock, and an aluminium swingarm. These elements make it suitable not just for daily riding but also for occasional track use.
In terms of features, the bike includes a TFT display, traction control, and a design inspired by Yamaha’s larger supersport models.
Overall, while the price increase may seem noticeable, the Yamaha R15 V4 continues to offer a strong package for enthusiasts looking for a performance-oriented small-capacity motorcycle.
