Citroen India has introduced two new variants to its lineup – the C3 Live (O) and the Aircross X Max Turbo 5-seater – while also announcing a new bookings-led production strategy. Under this approach, select variants will now be manufactured only against confirmed customer bookings instead of being produced for dealer stock.
The new Citroen Aircross X Max Turbo 5-seater MT is priced at Rs 12.41 lakh, while the Citroen C3 Live (O) comes in at Rs 5.49 lakh (both ex-showroom). These two variants are the first to be offered under the company’s revised production plan.
According to Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director – Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, the bookings-led mechanism will help Citroen align production capacity with real customer demand and refine its product portfolio more efficiently.
Aircross X Max 5-seater focuses on rear-seat comfort
The Citroen Aircross X Max Turbo 5-seater is aimed at buyers who prefer better second-row comfort over a third row. Compared to the 7-seater version, the new 5-seater offers 60mm more knee room, making it more comfortable for rear passengers.
It also gets added comfort features such as a rear centre armrest with cup holders and a three-step rear seat recline function. These changes make the Aircross more practical for families who primarily use the rear seat.
The Aircross X Max 5-seater is available in Polar White, Deep Forest Green and Perla Nera Black, paired with Dark Brown interiors, giving it a premium look inside the cabin.
Citroen C3 Live (O) adds more features at entry level
Citroen has also strengthened its hatchback range with the launch of the C3 Live (O) variant. Positioned above the standard Live trim, this version brings 10+ additional features, making it more appealing to buyers looking for value at the base end.
Key additions include leatherette seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a rearview camera. Minor exterior updates such as new wheel covers and extra cladding are also part of the package.
The Citroen C3 Live (O) is offered exclusively in Perla Nera Black, giving it a distinct identity within the C3 range.
With these updates, Citroen India is clearly focusing on feature upgrades, comfort improvements, and a demand-driven production model to strengthen its position in the Indian market.
