Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Launch Expected in Early 2026

Mahindra is gearing up to refresh one of its most popular SUVs, the Scorpio N. The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of 2026, between January and March. This update will mark the brand’s second facelift launch next year, after the XUV 7XO, which is essentially the updated version of the XUV700.

Recent spy shots of the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift suggest that the changes on the outside will be subtle rather than dramatic. Mahindra is expected to retain the existing sheet metal, meaning the SUV’s strong silhouette and upright stance will remain unchanged. Updates are likely to be limited to soft plastic parts, including revised headlights and tail-lights, tweaked fog lamp housings, and fresh trim elements. New alloy wheel designs are also expected, although the size is likely to remain the same 18-inch setup as the current Scorpio N.

Inside, the Scorpio N facelift is expected to receive a noticeable upgrade in terms of features and technology. While Mahindra has not revealed official details yet, the cabin is likely to borrow elements from newer models in the brand’s lineup. One of the key upgrades could be a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, replacing the current 8-inch unit, similar to what is seen on the Thar Roxx. The three-row seating layout will continue, along with premium additions such as a 12-speaker Sony sound system, dual-zone climate control and the recently introduced ADAS safety suite.

On the mechanical front, the Scorpio N facelift engine options are expected to remain unchanged. The SUV should continue with the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Both motors will be offered with 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options, while select diesel variants will continue to get four-wheel-drive capability.

In terms of pricing, the current Scorpio N is priced between Rs 13.2 lakh and Rs 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom). With the added features and updates, the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift price is expected to start at around Rs 14 lakh and go up to Rs 26 lakh. While it has no direct rivals in the ladder-frame SUV space, it can be seen as an alternative to models like the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
