TVS Motor Company is all set to enter the adventure motorcycle segment in India with the launch of the TVS RTX 300 on October 15, 2025. The brand has started sending official “Block Your Date” invites for the launch event, hinting at the debut of its much-anticipated Apache RTX 300 ADV.
The TVS RTX 300 was first showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo held in New Delhi and will be TVS’s first-ever adventure touring motorcycle. When launched, it will rival the KTM 250 Duke, Yezdi Adventure, and Suzuki V-Strom SX in the Indian market.
TVS RTX 300: Design and Features
The TVS RTX 300 ADV has been spied several times near the company’s Hosur plant, often wearing heavy camouflage. Even TVS MD Sudarshan Venu was spotted testing it earlier this year — confirming that development is in its final stages.
The motorcycle features a trellis frame and bolt-on rear subframe, designed for comfort and long-distance touring. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with USD front forks and a rear monoshock setup, ensuring a balance between on-road comfort and off-road capability.
Styling highlights include a large windscreen, split-seat setup, upswept exhaust, and muscular fuel tank, giving the RTX 300 a rugged and modern ADV appeal.
Engine and Performance
Powering the TVS RTX 300 is a new 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine, unveiled earlier at TVS MotoSoul 2024 in Goa.

The TVS RTX 300 price in India is expected to start around ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. Thanks to the recent GST reduction on motorcycles below 350cc, TVS could offer aggressive pricing to attract adventure touring enthusiasts.
Bookings for the TVS RTX 300 are expected to begin shortly after launch, with deliveries likely to start later this year.
