Mahindra has officially launched the XUV 7XO in India with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹13.66 lakh, applicable for the first 40,000 units. Essentially a facelifted version of the XUV700, the new SUV brings noticeable updates to its exterior styling, cabin layout, technology and ride comfort.
Pre-bookings for the new Mahindra SUV were temporarily closed before the launch and will reopen on January 14, 2026. Deliveries for select variants will begin the same day, while the remaining trims will be rolled out in phases till April 2026.
The XUV 7XO competes in the three-row SUV segment against the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

Visually, the XUV 7XO looks more modern and premium than before. It gets new LED headlamps framed by boomerang-shaped DRLs, a revised front grille and refreshed tail-lamps with hexagonal detailing. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes. The diesel automatic can also be paired with an all-wheel-drive system on higher trims, making it one of the few AWD options in the segment.
