Renault has officially launched the all-new Renault Duster in India, with a starting price of Rs. 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on the brand’s new RGM platform, the SUV comes with a completely updated design, improved features, and multiple engine options.
The 2026 Renault Duster is offered in five variants – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic. Pre-bookings had opened earlier this year for Rs. 21,000, and the response has been strong, with over 91 percent of bookings for turbo variants. Interestingly, the upcoming hybrid version is already sold out for 2026, even before its official launch.
At launch, the SUV is available with two turbo-petrol engine options – 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre units. Buyers can choose between six-speed manual, CVT automatic, and six-speed DCT transmissions. A 1.8-litre turbo-petrol hybrid is expected to arrive later this year, likely during the festive season.
In terms of design, the new Duster gets a rugged and modern look. Key highlights include LED headlamps with DRLs, bold grille with Duster branding, silver skid plates, roof rails, black cladding, and C-shaped LED tail lights with a connected light bar.
Inside, the SUV features a dual-screen dashboard setup along with a strong list of features. These include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, powered front seats, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, Type-C ports, powered tailgate, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The Duster competes with popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
To enhance ownership value, Renault is offering a 7-year warranty or 1.5 lakh km, making it a strong option in the segment.
