Renault Kwid, Triber and Kiger Prices to Increase from January 2026

Renault India has confirmed that prices of its entire model range will see an upward revision from January 2026. The hike will be up to 2 percent and will apply across variants, including the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. According to the company, the decision has been taken due to rising input costs and broader macroeconomic pressures impacting the automotive industry.

In an official statement, Renault said it remains committed to offering good value to Indian customers while ensuring product quality and service standards are maintained. Buyers planning to purchase a Renault vehicle are advised to complete their bookings before the end of December 2025 to benefit from the current prices.

Price Hike Follows Industry Trend

Renault’s announcement comes at a time when several carmakers have already confirmed price hikes ahead of the new year. Manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, MG Motor India, Nissan and BMW Motorrad have cited similar reasons, including inflation, higher supply chain costs and regulatory changes.

Renault India’s Current Line-up

Renault India currently offers three models, each aimed at a different set of buyers while focusing on affordability and practicality. The Renault Kwid is the brand’s entry-level model, with prices starting at around Rs 4.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It features SUV-inspired styling, 184mm of ground clearance, and equipment such as a digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Engine options include 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol units.

The Renault Triber sits above the Kwid and targets families looking for a compact and flexible MPV. Priced from Rs 5.76 lakh, it is known for its modular seating layout. Recent updates have improved its feature list and safety equipment.

Compact SUV Option: Renault Kiger

Completing the lineup is the Renault Kiger, a sub-four-metre compact SUV starting at Rs 5.76 lakh. It is available with naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines and received cosmetic and feature updates in 2025.

Renault also offers government-approved CNG retrofitment kits, extended warranty options and nationwide after-sales support across its range.
