The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift has been spotted completely undisguised ahead of its official launch, giving us a clear look at what’s new. Tata Motors had recently teased the updated front design, but these latest images reveal the full set of exterior changes.
Cleaner Front Design
At the front, the Punch EV facelift gets a redesigned bumper with a cleaner layout. The black trim and connecting air inlets seen on the current model have been removed, making the nose look simpler and more upright. The lower air dam and skid plate have also been revised. However, the Y-shaped LED DRLs and the central charging flap remain unchanged, so the overall identity is still familiar.
Subtle Changes on the Side
From the side, there are no major changes. The silhouette continues as before, though some variants may feature new aero-style alloy wheel designs. The test car was seen in the Fearless Red dual-tone shade with a black roof. Tata has also confirmed new brown and bright yellow colour options for the facelifted version.
New LED Light Bar at the Rear
At the rear, the biggest change is the addition of a connected LED light bar, similar to the one seen on the ICE version of the Punch. The rear bumper design is also largely identical to its petrol sibling.
Battery and Performance
Mechanically, the facelift is expected to remain the same. It will likely continue with the 25kWh and 35kWh battery packs. The smaller battery produces 82hp and 114Nm, while the larger one delivers 122hp and 190Nm. The claimed range currently stands at 265km and 365km respectively, though minor revisions are possible.
