Audi India Sells 2,128 Units in H1 2025, Targets Boost During Festive Season

Audi India H1 2025 Sales at 2,128 Units; Confident of Festive Season Recovery

Audi India, the German luxury carmaker, reported retailing 2,128 units between January and June 2025 (H1). This marks a year-on-year decline of 14.09% compared to the 2,477 units sold during the same period in 2024.

Breaking down the numbers, Audi delivered 1,223 units in Q1 2025, which represents a 16.9% growth over Q1 2024. However, Q2 2025 saw a significant slowdown, with sales falling to 905 units from 1,431 units in Q2 2024 — a sharp 36.7% decline.

Market Challenges and Strategic Response

The brand attributed this dip in H1 sales to several market challenges, including a weaker exchange rate, price increases, and geopolitical uncertainties that affected buyer sentiment. Despite these headwinds, Audi India remains optimistic about regaining momentum in H2 2025, driven by new product launches and the traditional festive season boost.

Focus on Products, Digital Innovation, and Customer Experience

Commenting on the performance, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said,

“While H1 2025 presented unique market challenges, we used this period to lay a stronger foundation for sustainable growth. With a luxury-first approach and focus on exceptional customer experiences, we continue to strengthen brand loyalty. We see opportunities for growth in the second half, supported by new product introductions, a digital-first strategy, and our commitment to customer satisfaction.”

Audi also noted continued progress in its pre-owned car business, Audi Approved: plus, which grew by 10% in H1 2025. The network currently includes 26 pre-owned car facilities nationwide, with further expansion planned.

Strengthening EV Ecosystem

In line with its electric mobility strategy, Audi India reported expanding its ‘Charge My Audi’ network to over 6,500 charging points across the country, aiming to enhance convenience and confidence for EV customers.

Looking Ahead

For the remainder of 2025, Audi India will look to capitalise on its diverse portfolio, including models like the A4, A6, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, RS Q8, Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback e-tron, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. The brand’s recent association with Olympic Champion Neeraj Chopra as a “brand friend” is also aimed at appealing to a new generation of luxury car buyers.
