Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the revamped interior of its new GLB SUV ahead of the vehicle’s global debut on December 8, showcasing a significant upgrade over the previous model. The redesigned cabin places a strong emphasis on technology, with the centerpiece being the expansive MBUX Super screen. Spanning the width of the dashboard, this setup incorporates three distinct displays for the driver, center, and front passenger, delivering a streamlined and modern look. The central air vents remain positioned low on the dash, and a floating floor console enhances the sense of space inside the vehicle.

The GLB continues to offer its practical seven-seat configuration, featuring a split-folding second-row bench and two additional seats in the third row, which can be stowed when not in use. A panoramic glass roof now comes standard, with an available option that can switch between transparent and opaque settings at the push of a button. Another variant includes illuminated Mercedes emblems embedded in the glass.
In comparison to the CLA, the GLB stands out for its greater versatility, thanks to its extra row of seats and the ability to slide the second row. The rear seats fold flat to maximize cargo capacity, catering to families and those needing extra storage for travel.

Under the hood, the new GLB shares its powertrain lineup with the latest CLA, offering both hybrid and all-electric options. Top models deliver up to 349 horsepower. The hybrid variants pair a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the electric version features an 85 kWh battery and is available in single- or dual-motor configurations. With these updates, Mercedes-Benz aims to provide a flexible and high-tech SUV to suit a broad range of drivers.
