Mahindra has relaunched the special Batman-themed version of the Mahindra BE 6 in India at a price of Rs 28.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited edition electric SUV is now Rs 70,000 more expensive than before. Bookings for the model will open on March 10, 2026, at 11 am and will remain open for only 24 hours.
Unlike the previous launch, the company has not fixed the number of units this time. Instead, Mahindra says the final production volume will depend on the number of bookings received during the limited booking window. Deliveries of the Batman Edition are scheduled to begin from April 20, 2026.
Based on the top-spec variant
The Batman Edition is based on the fully loaded Pack Three variant of the standard Mahindra BE 6, which is priced at Rs 26.90 lakh. The special edition mainly focuses on cosmetic changes inspired by the Batman theme, both outside and inside the car.
On the outside, the SUV comes finished in a Satin Black paint shade along with Batman decals on the front doors. Golden design elements are used on parts like the suspension and brake callipers, giving the car a unique look. The front fenders, wheel hubcaps and rear bumper also feature Bat emblems inspired by the Dark Knight trilogy.
The model rides on large 20-inch alloy wheels, which further enhance its road presence.
Batman-themed cabin design
Inside, the Batman Edition continues the dark theme with an all-black dashboard. Golden accents are added across the cabin, including a halo-style divider between the front passengers. The seats come with a black suede leather finish and feature golden stitching along with Bat emblems embossed into them.
Golden highlights can also be seen on the steering wheel, centre console and even the key fob. The boost mode button on the steering wheel carries a Bat logo as well.
Another special touch is the golden plaque placed on the centre console. Each unit of the Batman Edition will get a unique serial number engraved on this plaque, highlighting its limited-edition status.
Features carried over from the standard model
Most of the features remain unchanged from the regular Mahindra BE 6. These include dual 12.3-inch screens, an augmented-reality head-up display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated front seats and a panoramic glass roof with special lighting elements.
On the safety side, the SUV offers seven airbags, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.
For buyers looking for something more distinctive than the regular model, the Batman Edition offers a unique design package while retaining the same features and electric powertrain of the standard BE 6.
