The Range Rover Sport Autobiography has been launched in India in a locally assembled form, with prices starting at Rs 1.6 crore (ex-showroom). This marks the first time the Autobiography trim is being offered on the locally manufactured version, making the luxury SUV slightly more accessible compared to the fully imported model.
Under the hood, the Range Rover Sport Autobiography comes with two 3.0-litre engine options. Buyers can choose between a petrol unit producing 400hp and a diesel engine delivering 351hp. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. The petrol variant can sprint from 0-100kph in 5.5 seconds, while the diesel does it in 5.8 seconds. For those looking for more performance, the 4.4-litre V8 version continues as a CBU with higher power output.
On the outside, the SUV keeps its clean and familiar design but adds a few distinct touches. It rides on 22-inch alloy wheels with a satin black finish, gets red brake calipers and subtle Autobiography badging. Features like flush door handles, soft-close doors and a powered tailgate add to everyday convenience. New colour options such as Borasco Grey and Ostuni Pearl White are also available.
Inside, the cabin focuses on comfort and premium feel. The SUV gets extended leather upholstery, 22-way adjustable front seats with massage function and ventilated rear seats. Other highlights include a 13.1-inch infotainment system, Meridian sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
With features like adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering and Terrain Response systems, the Range Rover Sport Autobiography offers a mix of luxury SUV comfort and strong driving capability.
