Toyota Launches New Hyryder Prestige Package

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Gets New Prestige Package with Exclusive Accessories

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new accessory package for its popular Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV in the Indian market, aiming to enhance its premium appeal. Called the Prestige Package, this limited-period offering includes a curated set of ten accessories designed to seamlessly integrate with the SUV’s original styling.

The 2025 Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Prestige Package features:

  • Stylish garnishes on the bumpers and lights
  • Chrome accents on the rear tailgate and lamps
  • Stainless steel-inserted door visors
  • Body cladding for a rugged look
  • A distinctive hood emblem

These accessories are available as dealer-level fitments and are targeted at buyers who want to personalise the Hyryder’s exterior without altering its core design.

No Mechanical Changes

Beyond the cosmetic updates, the Hyryder remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be offered with two powertrain options:

Self-charging strong hybrid:

  • Powered by a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an electric motor
  • Capable of short electric-only drives, especially useful in city conditions

Mild-hybrid version:

  • Comes with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system
  • Available with both manual and automatic transmission options
  • Select variants also offer an all-wheel-drive system for better traction

A Proven Success Story

Since launch, Toyota has sold over one lakh units of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India, underlining its strong market acceptance. The SUV continues to come with:

  • A standard three-year/1,00,000 km warranty, extendable to five years/2,20,000 km
  • Hybrid battery warranty of eight years/1,60,000 km

Looking Ahead

Beyond the Hyryder, Toyota is actively expanding its India portfolio:

  • Recently launched the mild-hybrid 48V version of the Fortuner
  • Plans to introduce its first all-electric vehicle (EV) before the end of this year

Earlier this year, the brand unveiled the Urban Cruiser BEV globally in Brussels, followed by its Indian debut at the BMGE 2025 in Delhi. Sharing its platform with the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, the BEV will be produced at SMC’s Gujarat plant and offered with two battery options, boasting a claimed driving range of over 500 km per charge.
