Honda City prices have been increased in India ahead of the expected launch of the updated facelift model. Honda Cars India has revised prices across select variants of the sedan, with hikes going up to ₹30,400.
The biggest increase has been applied to the City V Petrol Manual variant, which is now costlier by ₹30,400. Meanwhile, the V Petrol CVT variant has received a price hike of ₹19,700. Honda has also increased the price of the ZX Petrol Manual by ₹13,100.
Even the entry-level SV Petrol Manual variant has become more expensive, receiving a hike of ₹4,600. Following this revision, the Honda City price in India now starts at ₹12 lakh and goes up to ₹15.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
The latest price update comes just weeks before the launch of the Honda City facelift 2026. The updated sedan is expected to receive cosmetic changes, feature additions, and minor interior updates to stay competitive in the mid-size sedan segment.
Although Honda has not officially revealed details of the facelift yet, reports suggest the updated City may get a larger infotainment system, improved connectivity features, and additional comfort equipment. Mechanically, the sedan is expected to continue with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with manual and CVT gearbox options.
The Honda City remains one of the most popular sedans in India due to its spacious cabin, smooth petrol engine, and comfortable ride quality. It competes with models like the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
