Mercedes-Benz Gears Up for India Launch of AMG GT63 and GT63 Pro on June 27
Mercedes-Benz is ramping up its performance lineup in India, following the recent introduction of the ultra-luxury Maybach EQS and SL680 Monogram Series. The German marque is now turning its focus to high-performance coupes with the launch of the AMG GT63 and AMG GT63 Pro 4MATIC in India. Both models will arrive as Completely Built Units (CBUs).
The AMG GT63 is a high-octane, two-door coupe powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It delivers an impressive 584.6 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed Multi-Clutch Transmission (MCT). The result is blistering acceleration—0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds—and a top speed of 315 km/h. Twin-scroll turbochargers and performance-tuned engineering contribute to its remarkable power delivery.

The coupe also features aggressive aerodynamic styling, carbon fibre elements, and cutting-edge performance components. Globally, the GT63 is equipped with a hybrid system, including a 6.1kWh liquid-cooled battery that delivers an additional 150kW to the rear axle—though it remains to be seen if the India-spec models will include this feature.
As for pricing, the AMG GT63 and GT63 Pro are expected to be positioned in the ₹3 crore range, making them among the most exclusive performance offerings from Mercedes-Benz in the Indian market.
