Porsche has officially launched the Cayenne Electric in India, bringing its flagship SUV into the electric line-up. Priced at Rs 1.76 crore for the standard version and Rs 2.25 crore for the Turbo, it joins the Taycan and Macan EV as Porsche's latest step into electric mobility. The new model comes with impressive performance, advanced charging tech, and a strong focus on efficiency.

The performance numbers themselves tell the story. The Cayenne Electric Turbo is extremely quick, with 1,156 bhp and 1,500 Nm—figures that push it into supercar territory. Even the standard model is strong with 440 bhp and 835 Nm, making it one of the quickest electric SUVs on sale.
A 113 kWh battery pack powers both variants, offering up to 642 km of range. The SUV also supports 400 kW fast charging, allowing quick top-ups on compatible chargers. One of the headline features is Porsche Wireless Charging, which uses an 11 kW inductive system-simply park over a charging plate and the SUV starts charging automatically.
The Cayenne Electric is slightly larger than the ICE model, measuring 4,985 mm in length and offering a longer 3,023 mm wheelbase for more cabin space. Inside, Porsche has equipped it with a 14.25-inch OLED touchscreen and an optional 14.9-inch passenger display, keeping the cabin modern and tech-focused.
Bookings for the Porsche Cayenne Electric are now open in India, with deliveries expected to begin next year. This EV will be sold alongside the petrol-powered Cayenne, giving buyers more choice in the premium SUV space.
