Tata Motors has officially launched the Tata Harrier EV in India, marking a significant step in the country’s electric vehicle (EV) journey. Priced at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the Harrier EV is set to compete with other electric SUVs in the market, offering a blend of performance, technology, and sustainability.
Key Features and Specifications
- Powertrain and Performance: The Harrier EV is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, delivering up to 390 bhp and 504 Nm of torque. This setup enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. It offers two battery options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, providing a range of up to 627 km on a single charge, according to the MIDC cycle.
- Charging Capabilities: The Harrier EV supports 120 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0 to 80% in approximately 25 minutes. It also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, enhancing its versatility.
- Interior and Technology: Inside, the Harrier EV boasts a 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
