Jeep Brings Back Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition for 2026 at Rs 70.31 Lakh

Jeep has reintroduced the Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition in India for the 2026 model year, this time at a lower price of Rs 70.31 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV was first launched last year at Rs 73.24 lakh, so the new price makes it around Rs 3 lakh more affordable. The company has also increased the allocation to 41 units, compared to just 30 units previously, which should make it slightly easier for interested buyers to get one.

Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition: What is it?

The Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition is an India-exclusive version based on the top-spec Rubicon variant. It mainly focuses on cosmetic changes and added accessories while retaining the strong off-road hardware that the Wrangler is known for. One of the biggest highlights is the exclusive ‘41 Green’ exterior shade, inspired by the military colour used on the original Willys Jeep from the 1940s. Buyers can also choose from other paint options like White, Red, Black, and Blue.

To further distinguish it from the standard model, the SUV gets a unique ‘1941’ hood decal that pays tribute to the year when production of the first military-spec Jeep began. These small touches give the SUV a more heritage-focused identity, which is likely to appeal to enthusiasts.

Features and Accessories

In terms of equipment, the Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 features several accessories worth around Rs 2 lakh as standard. These include a motorised side step, new grab handles for the cabin, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dash cameras.

Customers can also opt for additional accessories priced at Rs 3.6 lakh. These include a roof carrier with an integrated side ladder and a Sunrider rooftop option. Interestingly, the optional package is about Rs 1 lakh cheaper than what was offered last year, which adds more value to the special edition.

Engine and Performance

Mechanically, there are no changes. The Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 specs remain identical to the regular Rubicon variant. It continues with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 272hp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a full-time 4x4 system comes as standard, reinforcing its reputation as a capable off-road SUV.

With its limited availability, unique styling, and strong off-road credentials, the Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition price in India positions it as a niche but appealing option for buyers looking for a distinctive 4x4 SUV.
