Mercedes-AMG A45 S Aero Track Edition has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 87 lakh (ex-showroom). This new version brings a more focused design with added aerodynamic upgrades and sporty styling, aimed at enthusiasts who enjoy performance driving.
One of the key highlights of this model is the AMG Aerodynamics Package. Developed using wind tunnel testing, the package is designed to improve stability at high speeds. It includes a larger front splitter, additional flics, a fixed rear wing, and a revised rear diffuser. These updates are not just for looks, but help increase downforce and improve overall handling on the road.
The car also gets the AMG Night Package, which adds several blacked-out elements to enhance its road presence. Parts like the front splitter, side sill inserts, window trims, and ORVM housings are finished in high-gloss black. Even the exhaust tips come in a black chrome finish, giving the hatchback a sharper and more aggressive appearance.
On the side, the A45 S Aero Track Edition sits on 19-inch AMG forged alloy wheels in a matte black finish. These are paired with red brake callipers, adding a nice contrast and highlighting its performance intent.
Under the hood, the car continues with the same powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. It produces 416 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful hatchbacks in its segment. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 270 kmph.
