The 2026 Honda City has been launched in India with introductory prices starting at Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest update brings refreshed styling, added features and improved cabin technology, while continuing with the same petrol and strong-hybrid powertrain options. The Honda City facelift rivals the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus in the mid-size sedan segment.
Honda is offering the updated City in four variants - SV, V, ZX and ZX+. The hybrid e:HEV version continues to be available only in the top-spec ZX+ trim and is priced at Rs 21 lakh. Buyers can choose between manual and CVT gearbox options with the standard petrol model.

Exterior Design Updates
The new Honda City gets a redesigned front fascia with sleeker LED headlamps and a connected LED DRL signature. The updated honeycomb grille and revised bumper design give the sedan a more modern look. Honda has also replaced the chrome trim with a body-coloured panel for a cleaner appearance.
The side profile remains largely unchanged except for the new dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the sedan gets a revised bumper and a new faux diffuser finished in body colour. Honda has also introduced a new Crystal Black Pearl paint option alongside existing colours like Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and Platinum White.
Interior And Features
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Honda City now gets a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. New feature additions include front ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera.
